How does my cell phone plan work in Russia?
I currently have a Verizon cell phone here in the U.S. (Idaho) but in September I moved to the city of Moscow, Russia nanny for a family. I'll be there anywhere from 6 months to two years, and I wondered how the cell phone thing might work. Will my Verizon phone even work in Russia? I can not leave the country without be able to stay in touch with my friends and family, but I have to buy a cell phone plan there, or that still work there? Thank you!
Your phone will not work in Russia. You do not want. Using a phone and a U.S. map of the United States in another country would cost more than fortune. International calls are expensive one you use. Buy a notebook or netbook and plan on using email.
