I've been trying to remember this movie that I saw like 10 yrs before, The main plot was baseball. There is this kid who is a big baseball fan, and his hand is injured at one game. After the treatment (operation?) his hands become super powerful or something like that.

And during another match, he throws the ball so powerfully back from the audience gallery that the coach and the players are dumbfounded and he is chosen to play professionally and so on and so forth....
