What to put in the diaper bag that goes to the hospital?
I am a mom first and I'm not sure other than change of clothes for me and a couple layers cover what I have in the diaper bag that goes with us to the hospital when I go at work. All member lists would be great!
To: Dress for the home (maternity clothes yet) Nightgowns (2 at least - has not like wearing gowns) 3 pairs of maternity underwear 3 pairs of socks, slippers, personal care products - deodorant, toothpaste / brush, hairbrush, ponytail holders, hair dryer (if the hospital does not have one), shampoo conditioner, makeup (for photos!) Breastfeeding Articles - Nursing pads (may not need them right away), the cream for your nipples lanisoh, boppy pillow (but hospitals do very well too) Baby - held to go home, cover ... almost everything else is given to you: Brush, diapers, wipes, nasal aspirator, thermometer, etc. They wear t-shirts hospital, while there, so clothes for them are not necessary. camera and video camera you can leave the bag baby at home until the day of departure, the husband has to wear. You may want to lotions, cd, mags, etc. for work, but I never even thought about them at all during my work .... Best wishes! EDIT - bring the baby book or journal to record your thoughts for your baby! You have some of the sweetest moments happen in your life 3 days in hospital (after a lot more too), but I would like he had his book so I could write all this as I watched her sleep.
