How would I know if it is an authentic Louis Vuitton handbag?
firstly you can tell by the quality of the materials ie is it leather ?
You can tell by the colours as well ..
Certain bags can be compared ie look at the speedy and compare .
If you are looking on ebay it is hard now to list as i have just tried listing mine and i have to wait 30 days .
Look for a stamp and stamps on various parts of the bag .
If buying new they come with a care card ...
Do not jump into buying something unless you are really sure .
look on the net for the bag and compare and ask questions a true seller with a authentic item will be more than happy to answer
also look at the stitching as that is a giveaway if it is poor walk away .. if the colours are not right walk away and if it is a second hand one many do not have the care cards .. dust bag or box as they get misplaced .
ask questions ... the stamp is embossed and not printed
