Can't get this migraine to go away?
well, I'll tell you a bit about the situation.. I have MS and it's pretty normal for me to get headaches and migraines.. However, this time it's so bad I can't focus on anything and my optic nueritis has been acting up everytime I move my head (my vision in my left eye will go away when I lift or move my head) and nothing is even slightly alleviating it.. My eyes feel like electric jolts are passing through them when I blink.. I am at my drs quite often because of my MS and all so i guess my question is, do any of you have any similar symptoms associated with your MS and if so could you give me som ideas on what helps you.. Going in is my last resort, so I hope I can get it under control before having to resort to that.. Thank you for taking the time to read this
Hi, I have ms also and get headaches just like you. My neurologist used to give me oral steroid tapers for that, but I cannot tolerate prednisone anymore. Last time I went for an infusion of steroids at the hospital. The headaches went away after that but the other symptoms that were bothering me did not. Extra strength Excedrin also provided me with some relief from the pounding, but it is tough on the stomach.
