Hi! I wanted to find out about a coach bag- this question is for the coach savvy woman((:
The coach soho twill stripe.
I have one and the serial number stamped inside reads 1888
however I have seen them also stamped 1889
what is the difference?
and why do they call it large, when in fact it is small?
please somebody tell me!

If they are the same bag they should have the exact same number. Most Coach bags come in three sizes. The particular bag you have is not sold year round and is not available for purchase through the website at this time. One of the bags you have is a fake. You can look into the bag and tell the difference by the seams and the way the bag is put together. All coaches also come with dust covers and paperwork which contains the serial number and the bag number so there shouldn't be a problem.
